Explore the Industry’s First Urban Aquaponics Farm, Enjoy a Delectable 3-Course Meal, and Sip on a Refreshing Vitality Drink Crafted with Produce from Fairmont Singapore’s Aquaponics Farm.
As part of Go Green SG (formerly known as Climate Action Week), Fairmont Singapore is opening its doors today to offer an exclusive behind-the-scenes glimpse into its industry-leading sustainability practices. Led by the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment, Go Green SG is a nationwide initiative that rallies the community towards a sustainable future for Singapore through a series of sustainability-related events and activities.
At Fairmont Singapore, Sustainability is at the core of its ethos. Back in 2019, Fairmont Singapore together with sister property, Swissôtel The Stamford, launched the industry’s first urban Aquaponics Farm. This innovative venture not only caters to a rising demand among guests for fresh quality produce, but also actively supports Singapore’s goal of locally producing 30% of its nutritional needs by 2030.
During this thoughtfully curated experience, guests will explore the Aquaponics farm, discover the cutting-edge technology and witness the remarkable output it generates. From fragrant herbs to vibrant leafy greens, the farm will provide a diverse selection of ingredients for a sumptuous 3-course lunch at The Stamford Brasserie. Prior to the meal, participants will have the opportunity to craft their own vitality beverage using harvested herbs from the farm. As a memento, each guest will also receive a unique house-made souvenir created using produce from the farm.
This experience is priced at $55++ per participant and will be available till 16 July 2023. Sessions will run daily from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with each session limited to a maximum of 8 participants, ensuring an intimate and immersive encounter.
